WALT: Write a story review
This story is about a family who lived next to a beach.
The characters in this story are Matthew, Sam, Jessie and Dad. This story takes place at the beach and in the forest.
In this story, Sam found a hole and saw a lot of pine cones in it. Then he put his hand inside to get the pine cones out. When Sam tried to get the last pine cone, he found a small kitten skull.
When the children finished picking up pine cones for the fire, their father lit a fire and brought them some old blankets for them to sleep on outside on the beach.
